How to Diet according to Blood Type

The Eat Right for Your Type diet encourages people to eat certain foods and avoid others based on their blood type -- A, B, AB, or O.
Peter J. D'Adamo, ND, the author of Eat Right for Your Type: The Individualized Diet Solution to Staying Healthy, Living Longer & Achieving Your Ideal Weight, believes blood types affect the digestive system and that some foods good for people of one type are "dangerous" for another.
It goes further than that for D'Adamo, a naturopathic doctor, who believes that your blood type also determines your susceptibility to certain illnesses and how you should exercise.

Critics cite a lack of published evidence backing D'Adamo's blood type-based diet plan. "I know of no plausible rationale behind the diet," says John Foreyt, PhD, a researcher at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

This diet may suit those enthusiastic about a plan that doesn't involve tracking calories or fat grams, while others may find it difficult to stay within the diet's confines, a challenge made greater if more than one person in a household follows the diet -- and has a different blood type.

What You Can Eat on This Diet

What you can eat and how you exercise on this diet depends on who you are.

If you're blood type O ("for old," as in humanity's oldest blood line) your digestive tract retains the memory of ancient times, says D'Adamo, so you're metabolism will benefit from lean meats, poultry, and fish. You're advised to restrict grains, breads, and legumes, and to enjoy vigorous exercise.

Type A ("for agrarian") flourishes on vegetarian diets, "the inheritance of their more settled and less warlike farmer ancestors," says D'Adamo. The type A diet contains soy proteins, grains, and organic vegetables and encourages gentle exercise.

The nomadic blood type B has a tolerant digestive system and can enjoy low-fat dairy, meat, and produce but, among other things, should avoid wheat, corn, and lentils, D'Adamo says. If you're type B, it's recommended you exercise moderately.

The "modern" blood type AB has a sensitive digestive tract and should avoid chicken, beef, and pork but enjoy seafood, tofu, dairy, and most produce. The fitness regimen for ABs is calming exercises

Stress Management Strategy

Accept the things you can’t change

Some sources of stress are unavoidable. You can’t prevent or change stressors such as the death of a loved one, a serious illness, or a national recession. In such cases, the best way to cope with stress is to accept things as they are. Acceptance may be difficult, but in the long run, it’s easier than railing against a situation you can’t change.

1. Don’t try to control the uncontrollable. Many things in life are beyond our control— particularly the behavior of other people. Rather than stressing out over them, focus on the things you can control such as the way you choose to react to problems.
2. Look for the upside. As the saying goes, “What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.” When facing major challenges, try to look at them as opportunities for personal growth. If your own poor choices contributed to a stressful situation, reflect on them and learn from your mistakes.
3. Share your feelings. Talk to a trusted friend or make an appointment with a therapist. Expressing what you’re going through can be very cathartic, even if there’s nothing you can do to alter the stressful situation.
4. Learn to forgive. Accept the fact that we live in an imperfect world and that people make mistakes. Let go of anger and resentments. Free yourself from negative energy by forgiving and moving on.
Make time for fun and relaxation
Beyond a take-charge approach and a positive attitude, you can reduce stress in your life by nurturing yourself. If you regularly make time for fun and relaxation, you’ll be in a better place to handle life’s stressors when they inevitably come.

  • Go for a walk.
  • Spend time in nature.
  • Call a good friend.
  • Sweat out tension with a good workout.
  • Write in your journal.
  • Take a long bath.
  • Light scented candles.
  • Play with a pet.
  • Work in your garden.
  • Get a massage.
  • Curl up with a good book.
  • Listen to music.
  • Watch a comedy.

Don’t get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of life that you forget to take care of your own needs. Nurturing yourself is a necessity, not a luxury.

1. Set aside relaxation time. Include rest and relaxation in your daily schedule. Don’t allow other obligations to encroach. This is your time to take a break from all responsibilities and recharge your batteries.
2. Connect with others. Spend time with positive people who enhance your life. A strong support system will buffer you from the negative effects of stress.
3. Do something you enjoy every day. Make time for leisure activities that bring you joy, whether it be stargazing, playing the piano, or working on your bike.
4. Keep your sense of humor. This includes the ability to laugh at yourself. The act of laughing helps your body fight stress in a number of ways.

My Travelling

Hello there...actually I want travel around the world. why??
The are reason why I want travel around the world because want to see their families and friends who live far away.
Invitations from families and friends are seldom so I  will decide to travel just to see them.
I also want travel because I  want to learn others cultures.
I  want to see the difference between their culture and other cultures.
I  want to learn others culture because for them traveling is fun while learning.
One particular thing about the culture is the food. I  want to know how food is prepared and how it is done.
Obviously, we all love to eat.
Besides that,  I want travel because I want to see all beautiful scenery of different countries.
Others would want to take pictures because it serves as souvenirs.
I also want to go traveling are to absorb the culture and meet the people who live in such an interesting place.
To them, what we may perceive as different and interesting might be completely normal to them while we are the ones who are different and interesting.
Traveling around the world can give I a much better understanding of how the rest of the world is doing and give I  a new perspective on how  I  can live your life.
Traveling is a very exciting activity that people of all ages can participate as well is something that you can do in solitude or with friends and family to enjoy.

People say, student life more best .. that's why my friend and me grab the opportunity, the time available to go to holidays .. hehehe.

InsyaAllah

Everytime you feel like you cannot go on
You feel so lost
That your so alone
All you is see is night
And darkness all around
You feel so helpness
You can’t see which way to go
Don’t despair and never lose hope
Cause Allah is always by your side
InsyaAllah3x

InsyaAllah you’ll find your way
Everytime you can make one more mistake
You feel you can’t repent
And that its way too late
Your’re so confused, wrong decision you have made
Haunt your mind and heart is full of shame
Don’t despair and never loose hope
Cause Allah is always by your side
Insyaallah you’ll find your way
Raise your hands and pray

Ooo ya Allah
Guide my steps don’t let me go astray
You’re the only one that showed me the way,
Showed me the way 2x
Insya Allah 3x
Insya Allah we’ll find the way

You are so much stronger
Than you think...

So SMILE ALWAYS....hehehe

My Goal to Achieve

Even though sometimes dreams may not come true, trying to achieve them becomes the goal. I’ve had several goals that have allowed to come out of my well-protected shell.

One of my goals for the future is to be happy regardless of what I choose to do. I want to be satisfied with my decisions, to be able to accept and forgive, and most of all to be able to live up to the expectations I have for myself. I realize I cannot set my goals and dreams on the basis of others and I need to achieve things for myself. I will only accomplish my goal in being happy when I am able to live my life for myself and still able to provide love and support to others.

As a child I had an imagination without boundaries and was constantly changing my goal. After college graduation, my first goal would be to have a career I really enjoy. My next goal would be to be a role model to my relatives. I want them to be able to trust me and come to me whenever they need help. My family and some members of my community have been good role models for me and I want to be the same for others.

Another goal of mine is I would like to be a role model for my younger brother specially and also to all my younger cousins, nieces, nephews, and to all the young kids out there to never give up hope. Someday, I will reach my destination in life when I earn my degree and from there it will o younger brother. My other goal is to give my mother a better life than what we have now. They deserve the best and I would like to offer that to them when I finish my education. I believe nothing is impossible in this world as long you are determined to make it possible. If I don't finish school and if I don't strive for my very best I would amount to be nothing to this world and it will not open any or new doors in my life. In spite of financial hardship, I am proud of myself that I stayed strong and challenge this cruel world.

My ambition is to be a manager, it is also my goal. When I was small, I was dreaming to become a doctor. I want to be a doctor because doctors would be of service to the people. As we all know, our country lack doctors and specialists on medicine. I will be responsible for their welfare until they heal completely. I treat my patient evenly regardless of their nationality, rank and wealth. I will open a clinic so that I can help even more people. For those who are poor, I will provide them with medicine without charging them. To be a doctor , I will be of service to the people and to my country. But now, I cannot to be a doctor, because I take  my course Management of Technology at University Utara Malaysia. That why, my ambition is to be a  manager. My parents were always smiling at me, charmed by my high ambitions in life. While growing, I started to form more definite picture of my future and was almost sure that I want to be a manager.  But sometimes, we had to think before we do something .We may asked for advice from the person who had more experience. If we do everything we want without consider, we might get trouble if that is illegal.

As a conclusion, everyone should have their own goals. With a goal of at least the spirit of them will achieve what they want.

My Hobby..

A hobby is a special work which a person does for the sake of his amusement. It is our favourites recreation.
A hobby is generally an art in which a person is most interested.
A hobby to one may be a profession to other.
It always serves a source of recreation.
My hobby is something different from others.

I love gardening. I am so fond of it that it has become my life and breath.

I cannot live without it.
The flower-beds, the grassy lawns and the young plants and trees have great influence upon me.
My small garden is so lovely that I do something in it daily to add to beauty. It takes most of my leisure time.

My hobby has taught me a great deal about plant life. I have come to know the wonders of the plant life. Today I know the numerous varieties of plant and flowers. For me the garden has become the book of nature.

My favourite hobby also is cooking. I love to collect cookbooks and watch cooking shows. I love to try new things and keeps me happy in my life. I started cooking when  I was 11 years old. This week I made blackened Tilapia and my family loved it. I guess the main reason I love to cook so much is to make my family happy. There is nothing in the world like seeing their smiling face. My favourite kind of food to cook is Western food which I am still learning about

Pizza Roti Gardenia..hehe

Whenever I feel sad or upset, cooking ease that for me in a big way.

someone very close to you),,
the real friend is the one who will understand you and let you finish your screaming without been mad of you and then ask you (what's going on?) nicely..

Tips for Staying Healthy

Eat healthy foods – Of course, you’ll have a great time making late night Cook-
Out runs for milkshakes and greasy (but delicious) burgers, or enjoying a pizza with
friends while studying.
That’s part of college life! It’s okay to indulge once in a while, but
try to eat healthy foods as often as possible. If you can’t make it to breakfast in the Fresh
Food Company or the Benson Food Court, put some yogurt in your frig or grab a granola
bar.
Add fruits and veggies to lunch or dinner whenever you can. And remember – there
are a lot of empty calories in alcohol (the term beer gut didn’t come from nowhere).

Exercise regularly – There are lots of way to get your exercise at Wake Forest.
You can work out at the Miller Center. Try to find some times that are less busy so that
you can spend time on the machines that work best for you.
Take one of the many classes offered there – from yoga to spinning. Participate on one of hundreds of intramural teams or join a club sports team for even more competition. Participate in trips sponsored by
Outdoor Pursuits.
Take walks around the campus with friends or go jogging. Play it safe
while exercising, particularly at night, and pay careful attention to your surroundings.

Get plenty of sleep – We know! Your schedule is really busy including classes, actively
studying, building new friendships, clubs and organizations, and personal time.
But remember, without enough sleep, everything else suffers. Use your time wisely in order to
get everything done.
